About

“All great deeds and all great thoughts have a ridiculous beginning.
Great works are often born on a street corner…”

–Albert Camus

seven7h tangent was born on just such a street corner, among poets and writers who’ve been gathering on the corner of 16th & Mission in San Francisco for the past twenty years. In 2007, we decided to collect writings from folks who had been performing their work at the Corner, and publish them in an anthology—and thus the 16th & Mission Review came to life. We produced a total of 13 issues before the project went on indefinite hiatus in 2010.

We’ve since published numerous books by poets and writers including Warren Longmire, Ed Bowers, Agneta Falk-Hirschman, and Charlie Getter.
